Fresh after launching the Redmi Pad SE 8.7, Xiaomi has released the Redmi 14C in the Philippines, the brand’s latest budget-friendly smartphone.
The Redmi 14C is a new entry-level offering that still manages to pack some intriguing features. To start, it has a fairly large 6.88-inch display with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi also touts that the screen comes with a TUV Rheinland certification, meaning it should be a bit easier on the eyes.
For its cameras, the phone packs a 50MP main shooter in its dual camera setup. Meanwhile, at the front is a 13MP selfie cam. These should make the phone a decent choice for photography.
Finally, performance shouldn’t be an issue for general use with its Helio G81 Ultra chipset. It should also last for over a day with ease courtesy of its large 5,160mAh battery.
In the Philippines, the Redmi 14C is available now in online stores for PHP 6,999 for the 8+256GB variant. Meanwhile, the 6+128GB model is priced at PHP 5,999, while the 4+128GB version is the most affordable at PHP 4,999. As a bonus, the 8+256GB and 6+128GB variants are available on Shopee at PHP 6,499 and PHP 5,499, respectively, though only for a limited time.
For those who prefer buying tech in physical stores, the phone will be available at official Xiaomi outlet stores starting October 11, 2024.
To go alongside the new Redmi phone, Xiaomi also released the Watch 5 Active. this smartwatch features a 2-inch LCD display, Bluetooth calling capabilities, and a battery that should let it last for up to 18 days.
Price-wise, you can get the Watch 5 Active for PHP 1,799. For those who buy it early, the watch is available at the official Xiaomi store on Shopee for just PHP 1,699.
