While the game has been out for over a month now, Atlus shared a new story trailer for Metaphor: ReFantazio. Note that this is simply another trailer and not a teaser for an upcoming DLC release.
A new trailer for Studio Zero’s latest JRPG is surprising. After all, the game has been out for a while now already, not to mention that it has been a big success for Atlus as it has sold one million copies shortly after launch. Of course, a new trailer makes sense if Atlus wants to keep promoting the game to those who have yet to give it a try.
This new story trailer doesn’t give away the entire plot of Metaphor: ReFantazio, but it does give players a better idea of what to expect, at least compared with the previous trailers. You can check it out now on the official YouTube channel.
To further convince those who haven’t tried it yet, the Metaphor: ReFantazio demo is still available now. Aside from getting to try out the game’s opening hours, players can also carry over their save data to the full game as long as they buy it on the same platform.
Metaphor: ReFantazio is out now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
For now, there’s no word yet on if Metaphor will become a full-fledged series, though Studio Zero is already working on its next game. Maybe it’ll be Metaphor 2, but we’ll have to wait and see.
