Garena recently announced that it will publish Delta Force in select regions, including Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Central America, South America, Brazil, the Middle East, and North Africa.
Delta Force is a new tactical first-person shooter for PC and mobile that’s developed by TiMi Studio Group’s Team Jade. In the game, players take on the role of Operators who have unique skillsets. Teammates must then work together in matches to outsmart opponents by using the various weapons and equipment that are available.
In the leadup to the game’s launch, Garena shared details on two PvP modes in Delta Force. These include:
- Warfare
- This is a large-scale game mode with up to 64 players facing off in a 32 versus 32 battle across a huge map with land, air, and sea areas. Each team will be split up into squads of four, and these squads must cooperate to take down their opponents.
- Operations
- Operations is an extraction shooter mode where teams of three players must gather supplies and reach the extraction point within a set amount of time. As with other extraction shooters though, players lose all their items if they fail the match.
Aside from the game modes, Garena also announced that pre-registration for the PC Open Beta is available now on Delta Force’s website, with the beta starting on December 5.
Players won’t just be able to enjoy the game there though as exclusive rewards will be up for grabs to those who play the PC version through Garena’s PC Client Pack. Specifically, players will get a special weapon reward.
While the Open Beta will only be for PC, the game’s PC Client Pack and mobile builds will feature cross-progression at launch, meaning players can sync their progress when the game launches early next year.
Delta Force will launch on Android, iOS, and PC sometime in early 2025. For now, there’s no specific release date for the game yet.
