As it has been a month since Version 2.6’s release, HoYoverse recently revealed that Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7 titled “A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn,” will be released on December 4.
This latest update features the final story chapter before the Express sets its course for the realm of Amphoreus, the Eternal Land. Here, players will also enjoy the debut of two new playable characters, Sunday and Fugue.
The first of these new characters is Sunday, a 5-star Imaginary character who excels at supporting his allies. His Skill allows teammates to immediately take action while increasing their DMG numbers. What’s more, if a teammate has a summon, both can immediately attack thanks to Sunday’s abilities.
Then, there’s Sunday’s Ultimate which can regenerate Energy for one teammate. This ability also causes the character and their summon to be blessed with “The Beatified” which boosts their CRIT DMG. Characters who are blessed will have a halo on their heads.
The next is Fugue, a foxian girl who is a 5-Star Fire character. In combat, enemy targets will be inflicted with the “Cloudflame Luster” effect. When this effect is reduced to 0, the target will take Weakness Break DMG again.
Then, when teammates attack Weakness Broken enemy targets, they will also deal Super Break DMG. Plus, Fugue’s Skill can also increase ally characters’ Break Effects.
Finally, her Ultimate deals Fire DMG to all nemies regardless of Weakness Type and directly reduces all enemies’ Toughness.
Along with these two 5-stars, General Jing Yuan and Firefly will have their return in the first and second halves of the Version 2.7 warp event, respectively.
On top of these two new characters, Version 2.7 will also introduce a new experience in the Astral Express’s new Party Car. Players can enjoy a spacious reception area with a sleek marble bar and a classic bartending robot int his Party Car, complete with a great view of the Cosmos as the backdrop.
When players go up the stairs, they’ll find the Trailblazer’s personal quarters which can be personalized with furniture. These can be bought with Express Funds earned from tasks.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7 will be released on December 4 on all platforms.
