Indiana Jones and the Great Circle gets new gameplay deep dive

Here's our best look yet at the upcoming Indiana Jones game.

After showing off the game at Gamescom 2024, Bethesda and MachineGames shared a new extended gameplay deep dive of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

This new deep dive is around 14 minutes long, and it shows off plenty of footage, including cutscenes and gameplay. Interestingly, this is pretty much the exact preview we saw during the hands-off gameplay demo of the game ahead of Gamescom. As such, it should be fans’ best look yet at the new Indiana Jones title.

While MachineGames is best known for the action-packed Wolfenstein titles, The Great Circle is a bit of a curveball from the studio. Sure, it also has a first-person view, but it’s not as guns-blazing as the studio’s other titles..

There are guns of course which Indy must use in combat encounters, but he also has his fists along with his trusty whip when up against Nazis and other foes. Action is just one part of the game though as The Great Circle is a story-driven affair that also focuses on puzzle-solving and exploration.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be released on Xbox Series X|S and PC on December 9, 2024. The game will then launch on PS5 in Spring 2025.
