Lenovo unveils new AI-powered laptops in the Philippines

Lenovo just launched four new AI-powered laptops in the Philippines.

Lenovo launched its new lineup of AI-powered laptops in the Philippines during its “Smarter AI For You” AI PC launch event earlier today at the SMX Convention Center in SM Aura Premier.

During the launch event, Lenovo showcased four new AI-powered notebooks for the PH market, including the Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition, Yoga Pro 7, IdeaPad 5x 2-in-1, and IdeaPad Slim 5x. While each notebook is powered by a different processor, they all promise to deliver various AI features.

Regarding the lineup, Lenovo Philippines General Manager Michael Ngan said:

“Lenovo is excited to introduce our latest lineup of AI-powered devices to the Philippine market, designed to elevate productivity, creativity, and connectivity for Filipino consumers. Our goal is to provide technology that not only enhances users’ digital experiences but also adapts seamlessly to their unique lifestyles. With these new AI-driven devices, we’re making advanced technology more accessible, helping Filipinos achieve more in their everyday lives.”

First up, we have the Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition which is powered by an Intel Core Ultra processor with a dedicated AI Neural Processing Unit (NPU). Aside from AI capabilities, the laptop also packs a 15.3-inch 2.8K PureSight Pro display with 500 nits of brightness. Plus, Lenovo promises that this laptop will offer up to 22 hours of battery life.

Next up is the Yoga Pro 7 which is powered by an AMD Ryzen AI processor that should be great for workflows that make use of AI software. The laptop also has a 14.5-inch 2.8K OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate.

For users who want a laptop and tablet combo, there’s the new IdeaPad 5x 2-in-1 which is designed for versatility in mind. What’s interesting is that this laptop is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus CPU, meaning it’s part of the Copilot+ PC line.

Rounding out the line of Lenovo AI-powered laptops is the IdeaPad Slim 5x. This laptop is also powered by the Snapdragon X Plus, and it also promises great battery life along with good connectivity thanks to its Wi-Fi 7 support.
