After its initial announcement, the OPPO Find X8 was finally launched globally, and with it came the reveal of the phone’s price and pre-order details in the Philippines.
In the past couple of years, OPPO has only released its premium mid-range Reno phones in the country, meaning users who wanted OPPO’s flagship Find X series weren’t able to get one officially in the PH. OPPO has gauged interest before such as with their special Find X5 event back in 2022.
Finally though, the Find X Series is making a comeback in the PH. For now, only the base Find X8 model is confirmed to get a release. This phone is still quite an intriguing option, especially given its specs.
To start, the Find X8 has a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with a 1256 x 2760 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. More impressive though is the camera setup as this phone packs a Hasselblad-branded 50MP triple rear shooter setup. Yes, this means all three cameras at the back of this phone are 50MP shooters.
Specifically, it has a 50MP main with PDAF and OIS, along with a 50MP ultrawide with PDAF and a 50MP 3x optical zoom telephoto lens with PDAF + OIS. At the front meanwhile is a 32MP selfie shooter.
Powering the phone is a Mediatek Dimensity 9400 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM. It also runs on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15. Speaking of OS, the phone promises to have up to 5 major Anrdoid upgrades – great news for users who want a phone they can use for years.
Finally, the Find X8 packs a 5630mAh battery that has support for 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. This combo should make it a phone that can last for a day of use, all while being quick to top-up when it need extra charge.
In the Philippines, the OPPO Find X8 in the 12GB/256GB version is priced at PHP 54,999, and it is available for pre-order until November 30. Each pre-order will come with an extra 1 year warranty for the device.
