OPPO is ending 2024 with a bang as it’s set to launch its new flagship Find X8 globally on November 21 in Bali, Indonesia.
This new flagship lineup is composed of the new Find X8 and X8 Pro, with both being powered by ColorOS 15, promising to deliver a top-notch flagship smartphone experience.
Regarding the new flagship lineup, Pete Lau, SVP and Chief Product Officer at OPPO, said:
“Until now, flagship camera phones with ultra-zoom, power, battery life and AI tools have been weighed down by thick, heavy designs, but Find X8 Series changes the game. Find X8 is a thin and light powerhouse with ultra-beating battery life and a periscope zoom. Find X8 Pro takes zoom further, delivering ultra-grade experiences without the bulk. And with ColorOS 15’s smart and smooth experience, Find X8 Series is set to mark an exciting shift for the smartphone industry.”
As mentioned by Lau, the Find X8’s highlight feature is its periscope telephoto camera with up to 10x zoom capabilities and beyond. While periscope zoom cameras for phones can make devices thick, OPPO managed to make the phone slim, Specifically, the Find X8 is just 7.85mm thin and weighs just 193g. On top of this, the phone also has a 6.59-inch display with an ultra-narrow 1.45mm symmetrical border.
Along with the periscope telephoto camera, the Find X8 also features OPPO’s Hasselblad Master Camera System, complete with features such as Lightning Snap, a function that takes up to seven photos every second while still delivering flagship-grade photo processing.
As for the Find X8 Pro, this phone has a bigger 6.78-inch screen with curved glass, along with a dual-periscope telephoto camera for global markets. With this, the X8 Pro promises to deliver even better zoom capabilities.
When it comes to battery life, both phones shouldn’t disappoint as the Find X8 has a large 5630mAh battery, while the X8 Pro has a larger 5910mAh battery. The phones are also powered by the latest-generation MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chispet, along with ColorOS 15 that packs AI tools.
