Prime Video has released the Secret Level official trailer, an adult-animated anthology series from Amazon MGM Studios and Blur Studio that brings to life original stories set within the worlds of some of the most beloved video game franchises. Created and executive produced by Tim Miller (LOVE, DEATH + ROBOTS), with Dave Wilson serving as executive producer and supervising director, the series has got some powerhouse names behind it.
Premiering December 10, Secret Level will be available exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories. The series will launch with an episodic release schedule, with new episodes dropping daily until December 17.
Boasting a lineup of high-profile talent, Secret Level features the voices of Arnold Schwarzenegger (The Terminator), Kevin Hart (Jumanji), Keanu Reeves (John Wick), Temuera Morrison (The Book of Boba Fett), Ariana Greenblatt (Barbie), Emily Swallow (The Mandalorian), Gabriel Luna (The Last of Us), Ricky Whittle (American Gods), and Laura Bailey (The Legend of Vox Machina), among many others.
The series blends the creative energy of LOVE, DEATH + ROBOTS with its video game inspirations, offering unique, original stories that reflect the depth and imagination of the gaming worlds they inhabit.
To complement the series, Prime Video plans exclusive episode-specific content drops on Secret Level’s social media channels starting November 18.
Additionally, Amazon is giving U.S. Prime members a special gaming-related perk in celebration of the series launch: 10% off select digital gaming currencies from brands including Xbox and Epic Games for 48 hours only.
Secret Level is shaping up to be one of the most interesting video game adaptations, blending immersive storytelling with dynamic animation styles, depending on which IP is being focused on, to bring popular gaming worlds to life in a fresh, adult-oriented format. Viewers can probably expect a ton of hidden easter eggs for the most dedicated fans to spot.
