SEGA and Atlus recently released a free demo for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance on PS5 and PC via Steam.
With this demo, players who have yet to try out the definitive version of SMT V can finally try the game out. Specifically, the demo will let players experience the start of the game. What’s great is that the demo will let players transfer their save file to the full version when they buy it on the same platform.
Here’s a rundown of the demo’s contents:
- Choose between the Canon of Creation, the story featured in the original Shin Megami Tensei V, and the Canon of Vengeance, a newly added story.
- Explore Da’at, a ravaged version of Tokyo where demons run rampant.
- Take on up to 4 of the story’s bosses and try around 20 different subquests.
- Take down 6 demon lairs to unleash forbidden god-like powers.
- Recruit an assortment of demonic allies, combine them through fusion, and build the ultimate party.
You can download the Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance free demo right now for free on the PlayStation Store for PS5 and Steam for PC. For now, there’s no word on a free demo for other platforms.
