After the reveal of the Berserk tees, Uniqlo unveiled two new Parasyte graphic tees that are part of its new manga UT collection.
In case you missed it, Uniqlo recently announced its new Manga Curation UT collection which will feature graphic tees based on three iconic manga titles. Previously, the Japanese clothing giant revealed that Kentaro Miura’s Berserk is part of the collection. Specifically, two Berserk tees were shared, including one with Guts and another with Femto and the God Hand.
Now, Uniqlo has confirmed on its Japanese website that the next manga in the collection is Hitoshi Iwaaki’s Parasyte. As with Berserk, the collection will feature two Parasyte-themed graphic tees.
First up is a navy t-shirt with a print of the protagonist Shinichi’s right hand that has been infected by an alien parasite. The word “Kiseiju” (the manga’s Japanese title which means “Parasitic Beasts”) is also printed below. Meanwhile, at the back is a larger print of Migi, the parasite that has infected Shinichi.
Next, we have a white graphic tee featuring various manga panels with bright-colored backgrounds. Most of the panels show Migi, though some also feature Shinichi.
Each t-shirt is priced at JPY 1,990 (a bit more expensive that typical Uniqlo UT shirts), and they will be released in Japan in mid-February 2025. For now, there’s no info yet on an international release date, though they’ll likely be released in mid-February or March outside Japan.
Ahead of the release, Uniqlo will reveal the third and final manga that’s part of the lineup on the Uniqlo Japan website, though there’s no word when it will be announced.
