As part of the celebration, pop culture merchandise company FANTHFUL revealed its new PlayStation 30th anniversary merch lineup, which is now available for pre-order.
In case you missed it, the original PlayStation was released on December 3, 1994. As such, the iconic gaming brand is now 30 years old. To mark this milestone, FANTHFUL and Sony Interactive Entertainment teamed up for a new line of merch that is now available for pre-order. These merch include keychains and accessories, all of which feature the iconic OG PlayStation colors and iconography.
Here’s a rundown of all the pieces in the collection:
First, we have the PlayStation 30 Anniversary Acrylic Keychain (USD 47.99) which comes in a blind box. Each box contains one keychain that recreates the package of popular PlayStation titles.
There are a total of eight styles, including Gran Turismo (1997) PS1, Syphon Filter (1999) PS1, Ape Escape (1999) PS1. Jak & Daxter TPL (2001) PS2, Sly Cooper (2002) PS2, Shadow Of The Colossus (2005) PS2, Infamous (2009) PS3, and Toro! Let’s Party! (2009) PS3
Next is a PlayStation 30 Anniversary Acrylic Keychain Set (USD 16.99) that features the original PlayStation console, controller, and the classic four-colored PlayStation Family Mark.
For those who want to show off their PlayStation fandom in style, there’s the 30th Anniversary cap (USD 24.99) featuring a PlayStation grey color, complete with the PlayStation Shapes Logo “△○×□” on the front and left side. Plus, the classic four-colored PlayStation Family Mark is stitched on the right side.
Then, there’s the PlayStation 30 Anniversary Shoulder Bag (USD 49.99). This is the biggest and arguably most practical item in the collection as its a fairly sizeable bag with a design based on the shape and classic color scheme of the original PlayStation console.
Rounding out the lineup is a 30th Anniversary mug (USD 16.99) featuring the PlayStation Shapes Logo “△○×□” on one side, and the design of the original PlayStation console and controller on the other side. At the bottom is the four-colored PlayStation Family Mark.
This collection is up for pre-order now, and it will be released in late March 2025.
Aside from these goodies, fans can also enjoy the limited-time PlayStation 30th anniversary themes on PS5 that Sony released for free earlier this month.
