With the game’s launch just days away, Bethesda and MachineGames revealed the PC system requirements of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
Based on the various previews and trailers for the game, the new Indiana Jones title promises to feature eye-catching visuals. As such, the PC requirements are quite high, surprisingly so in fact. After all, the minimum requirements are an RTX 2060 Super 8GB GPU and an Intel Core i7-10700K processor. Plus, you’ll need 32GB of RAM to meet the recommended requirements.
Here are the complete Indiana Jones and the Great Circle system requirements:
As expected, you’ll need a powerful rig to run the game with all ray tracing settings on. In fact, you’ll need an RTX 4070 12GB GPU at the minimum if you want to enjoy full ray tracing, and that’s just at 1080p.
Even the non-ray tracing requirements are quite steep as the RTX 3080Ti is the recommended GPU. Of course, it’s worth noting that the Recommended Requirements target a 1440p resolution, High graphics preset, and a 60FPS frame rate. Meanwhile, the Minimum Requirements are for 1080p Low at 60FPS. Finally, the Ultra Requirements are for the 4K Ultra preset with a 60FPS target frame rate.
Following the reveal of the complete system requirements, some players were surprised by the recommendations from MachineGames, especially when compared with other AAA titles. Specifically, PC players with RTX 3080TI card’s were shocked that it was only enough to meet the Recommended Requirements.
Of course, it’s worth noting that the 3080 Ti is a four year old GPU, so it makes sense that it’s slowly becoming just a mid-tier GPU now. Still, it should be plenty powerful for the game unless you’re planning on playing it at 4K.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC on December 9, 2024. The game will then be released on PS5 in Spring 2025.
