SEGA ATLUS Festival 2024 recap: A delight for Pinoy gamers
Here's what went down at the first SEGA ATLUS Festival in the Philippines!
The SEGA ATLUS Festival happened at the SM Mall of Asia Atrium on December 7-8, 2024, featuring titles such as SONIC X SHADOW Generations, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Like A Dragon: Yakuza Pirates in Hawaii, Sonic Rumble, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (movie), and Hatsune Miku Colorful Stage.

This two-day event was free for everyone to drop by and participate. There, attendees got to enjoy in the numerous booth and stage activities hosted by local influencers Myrtle Sarrosa, GLOCO Gaming, Een, Cherizawa, and Kuya Bols. Meet and greets for the Sonic and Shadow mascots were also available for fans to line up during choice time slots each day.

Attendees were treated to a huge inflatable display of Shadow the Hedgehog, standees for photos, fun gameplay demos, booth giveaways, and official merchandise exclusively for sale during the event. Moreover, everyone had the chance to partake in the event raffle by visiting each booth and completing the stamp rally. The stamps were given by accomplishing each booth’s gameplay demo or challenge, which could be a fun tabletop memory card game, stab-the-barrel game, taking photos with the standees, and more. Attendees who posted online in the official SEGA ATLUS Festival event page/group also had the chance to win raffle prizes.
Fans lined up in support of the event and its roster of merchandise–with an astonishing line that snaked almost twice around the venue during its opening. There was also a group cosplay photo opportunity to wrap up each fun-filled day.
The SEGA ATLUS Festival 2024 has been the third community event here in Manila this year, following the launch events for Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth (in January) and Persona 3 Reload (in February). We hope that similar events will continue to grace the metro as the avid SEGA ATLUS Pinoy fan community grows even further!
