SEGA celebrates the New Year with another PlayStation Store sale

The Publisher Sale isn’t even over yet, but that hasn’t stopped SEGA from kicking off its New Year Sale on the PlayStation Store.

To celebrate the arrival of 2025 in just two weeks, SEGA’s latest sale features big deals on the Yakuza series. Specifically, the first wave of the sale features discounts on Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and Like a Dragon Gaiden from December 16 to January 6. Then, the second wave will feature special offers on the Like a Dragon Series Starter Pack and the Yakuza Complete Series bundle from January 3 to 17.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth (PS5/PS4)

First is Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, the latest game in the franchise, and one that we consider to be among the best the Yakuza series has to offer. In case you haven’t gotten it yet, now’s the best time to buy it.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name (PS5/PS4)

While Ichiban Kasuga is the series’ new protagonist, Kazuma Kiryu made a return as a playable character in Like a Dragon Gaiden, a spinoff that features a moving story that also ties into Infinite Wealth. For fans who missed it, Gaiden is definitely worth experiencing.

Like a Dragon Series Starter Pack (PS5)

Now, if you’re a Yakuza fan who hasn’t been into the series in recent years, the Starter Pack is for you as it features the PS5 versions of Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. These are the latest two mainline series entries, and they feature the now-signature turn-based RPG combat system.
