Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Season 4 is the game’s final big update

Suicide Squad's latest update also adds an Offline Mode.

Nearly a year after its launch, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Season 4 will end as the game’s final season. The last episode of Season 4 is set to be released in January 2025, and it will be the last major content update for the game.

Rocksteady Games recently confirmed this in its latest Season 4 Deep Dive which highlighted the biggest new additions to the game’s Season 4 Episode 7 update. These additions include an Offline mode, meaning players can now play the main story campaign and all seasonal story mission content without being online.

Other big updates include the arrival of Deathstroke as the game’s newest playable character. With Deathstroke’s arrival though, the fight against Brainiac is coming to a close as Season 4 Episode 8 will be released in January 2025 as the game’s last Seasonal episode.

While this means players won’t get new major content additions, the game will still be supported as all online features will still be playable even after this final update.

The fact that the game has gotten support for nearly a year is a pleasant surprise, especially given the game’s less-than-stellar reception from critics and fans alike back when it was originally launched. In our review, we said that this Suicide Squad game “fails in more aspects that it succeeds in” and that while “potential is there, none of it is ever fully realized.”

Plus, the fact that the game will still be online (with an Offline Mode to boot) should be good news for players who have enjoyed the game. After all, some games have gotten worse fates (looking at you Concord).

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Season 4 Episode 7 is out now, with Episode 8 set to launch sometime in January 2025.
