Acer announces new lineup of AI-powered Predator Helios laptops
Acer's Predator Helios laptops are getting some new, tricked out specs!
Tech brand Acer unveiled new Predator Helios AI laptops powered by Intel Core Ultra processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series mobile GPUs. The new lineup includes the powerful Predator Helios 16 AI and Predator Helios 18 AI models, alongside the all-new slim Predator Helios Neo 16S AI laptop and Predator XB323QX gaming monitor.
The flagship Helios models feature up to Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 275HX and incorporate next-gen NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs. These devices showcase Acer’s latest cooling innovation – the 6th Gen AeroBlade 3D fan technology, which features the world’s thinnest cooling fan blades at just 0.05 mm.

The new laptops come with impressive display options, including OLED and Mini LED panels. The Helios 16 AI features an OLED WQXGA display with a 240 Hz refresh rate, while the Helios 18 AI boasts a 4K Mini LED display capable of 1000 nits brightness. Both models include advanced features like swappable MagKey 4.0 mechanical switches and extensive storage options, with the Helios 18 AI supporting up to 192 GB of memory and 6 TB of PCIe Gen 5 storage.
Intel’s David Feng, Vice President and General Manager, Client Segments, Client Computing Group, commented on the collaboration: “The new Intel Core Ultra 200HX-series processors are purpose-built for the max performance and IO that enthusiast gamers demand, while delivering that experience at significantly lower power. The company also introduced the Predator Helios Neo 16S AI, a slimmer variant measuring under 19.9 mm thin while maintaining high-performance capabilities. Additionally, Acer unveiled the Predator XB323QX gaming monitor, featuring a 31.5-inch 5K display with NVIDIA G-SYNC Pulsar technology and a 144 Hz refresh rate.
The new lineup emphasizes AI capabilities, with the laptops featuring NVIDIA’s latest DLSS technologies and support for over 150 AI-optimized apps. Each device comes with three months of PC Game Pass, providing access to new titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
