Acer launches new Nitro V Series laptops
The new Acer Nitro V Series laptops are packing some serious power!
Global brand Acer just unveiled a brand new lineup of their popular Nitro V series gaming laptops at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. Their entry-level gaming portfolio is now expanded, courtesy of AI-powered devices aimed at students, creators, and casual gamers. The new series features multiple screen sizes ranging from 14 to 17 inches, powered by the latest processors and graphics capabilities.
The new Nitro V AI series includes the Nitro V 17 AI, Nitro V 16 AI, and Nitro V 14 AI models, powered by AMD’s latest Ryzen AI processors featuring the new “Zen 5” architecture. These Copilot+ PCs come equipped with a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of performing up to 50 AI TOPS, enabling advanced AI features like Cocreator in Paint. The laptops are outfitted with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPUs, supporting NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 for enhanced gaming graphics, and can be configured with up to 32 GB of memory and 2 TB of storage.
The flagship Nitro V 17 AI features a 17.3-inch QHD display with up to 165 Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. The Nitro V 16 AI offers a WQXGA resolution display with up to 180 Hz refresh rate, while the Nitro V 14 AI stands out with its unique white, pearl-like finish and WQXGA resolution display with a 165 Hz refresh rate.
Acer is also introducing the Nitro V 15 lineup. These laptops are available in two variants: one featuring AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processors and another powered by Intel Core 7 processor 240H. Both models come with 15.6-inch FHD displays boasting 180 Hz refresh rates and 3ms response times.
All new Nitro V laptops come equipped with Acer’s NitroSense software, providing users control over performance settings and customization options through the Experience Zone 2.0 interface. The laptops also feature AI-enhanced capabilities like Acer PurifiedVoice for noise cancellation during calls and streaming, and Acer PurifiedView for improved video conferencing.
As part of the launch, Acer is including three months of PC Game Pass with each device, giving users access to popular titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Ara: History Untold, along with games from EA Play.
