Assassin’s Creed Shadows is now available for pre-order on PC and consoles
After delays, Assassin's Creed Shadows is finally launching this March.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is available for pre-order now as the game is finally coming out on March 20, for real this time.
While an Assassin’s Creed game set in Japan is something that fans have been wanting for years, the development of Shadows was a rather rocky one. After all, after the game was delayed from November 2024 to February 2025, another delay was announced earlier this month. As such, the game’s new release date became March 20.
Thankfully, there should be no more delays as Assassin’s Creed Shadows is available for pre-order now on all platforms. This includes the game’s Standard physical and digital editions, along with the Digital Deluxe and Collector’s Editions.
The game’s special versions include the following:
- The Digital Deluxe Edition will include the base game, the “Sekiryu Dual Pack” which contains gear, and weapons for both Naoe and Yasuke, the “Sekiryu Hideout Pack” containing hideout cosmetics, and “Mastery Points”.
- The Collector’s Edition will include the base game, the “Sekiryu Dual Pack”, the “Sekiryu Hideout Pack”, “Mastery Points”, and physical content. The physical content will be a Steelbook, the World map, Naoe & Yasuke figurine, Naoe’s life-sized Katana Tsuba, a Wall Creed Scroll, a 76-paged collector’s artbook, and 2 sumi-e lithographs.
As a bonus, everyone who pre-orders Shadows will get free access to the upcoming “Claws of Awaji” expansion that’s going to be released later this year.
In case you missed its reveal, Claws of Awaji will add a brand-new open-world region that should deliver over 10 hours of playtime. Along with the new area, the expansion will also add new skills, gear, abilities, and more.
For its story, the expansion will see Naoe and Yasuke as they try to survive being chased and hunted by a dangerous faction, the Sanzoku Ippa.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows launches on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Mac on March 20, 2025.
