ASUS ROG unveils latest gaming innovations at CES 2025

The hype is very, very real as ASUS ROG just unveiled their latest gaming innovations at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, to much fanfare. Everyone was treated to their latest installment in groundbreaking graphics cards and AI-powered devices, kicking things off with the new ROG Astral GeForce RTX 50 Series. This marks a hefty update in graphics technology, featuring the industry’s first four-fan design that increases airflow by up to 20%.
The lineup includes new gaming laptops powered by next-generation processors and NVIDIA’s latest GPUs. The 2025 ROG Strix SCAR 16 and 18 models feature Intel Core Ultra 9 processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPUs, while the Strix G series offers both AMD and Intel options. For portable gaming, the Zephyrus G14 and G16 combine powerful performance with ultra-thin designs, featuring high-end OLED displays and advanced cooling systems.
ROG also introduced the Flow Z13, a versatile 2-in-1 gaming tablet powered by AMD’s new Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, and an updated XG Mobile external GPU featuring NVIDIA’s RTX 5090 Laptop GPU and Thunderbolt 5 connectivity.
In the desktop segment, ROG launched the G700 series towers and the compact ROG NUC, both offering high-end gaming performance with the latest Intel and AMD processors paired with NVIDIA’s RTX 50 Series graphics.
The company’s display technology saw advancement with the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM, the world’s first 27-inch 4K OLED gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate. The monitor features new OLED Care Pro technology with an advanced proximity sensor to prevent burn-in.
Rounding out the announcements was the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000AI, which ROG claims is the world’s first Wi-Fi 7 gaming router with a built-in NPU. The router leverages AI for game acceleration, energy saving, and network security, promising up to 46% better energy efficiency compared to its predecessor.
