Dead By Daylight teams up with Junji Ito for chilling new Outfits

In what is a bit of a surprising move, Dead By Daylight has teamed up with Junji Ito for a new outfit collection featuring Ito’s most notable characters.

Dead by Daylight is no stranger to collabs. After all, the game has gotten crossovers with the likes of Five Nights at Freddy’s and Chucky. In that regard, this Junji Ito collab makes perfect sense given how terrifying his various characters and creatures are, though it’s still a collab that many didn’t expect.

While it doesn’t bring anything new gameplay-wise, the collab does have eight outfits that are sure to delight horror manga fans. For starters, there are five Killer Outfits which include:

• Miss Fuchi Legendary Outfit for The Artist
• Tomie Legendary Outfit for The Spirit
• Hikizuri’s Dark Past Very Rare Outfit for The Twins
• Soichi’s Party Clothes Very Rare Outfit for The Trickster
• Half Spirits’ Torment Ultra Rare Outfit for The Dredge

Rounding out the collab are these three Survivor Outfits:

• Tsukiko’s Uniform Very Rare Outfit for Yui Kimura
• Terumi’s Fame Very Rare Outfit for Yun-Jin Lee
• Puppet’s Troubled Ballet Very Rare Outfit for Kate Denson

Following its reveal, Dead By Daylight shared a video where Junji Ito himself reacted to the eight new outfits for the game. While this video confirms that Ito was not exactly involved in their designs, it’s nice to see him give his seal of approval for the collab.

These new outfits are available now in Dead By Daylight, though there’s no word on until when they’ll be available for purchase.
