Dino Crisis 1 & 2 have just been released on PC via GOG

In what is a bit of a surprise release, Dino Crisis 1 & 2 are available now on PC via GOG, complete with a bunch of welcome enhancements.

For those who missed it, the original Dino Crisis was released on the PlayStation Store back in November 2024 following its re-release for PlayStation Plus Premium tier subscribers in October of that year. This was a surprise to many given that there hasn’t been much indication about plans for the Dino Crisis franchise.

Now though, PC fans are in for a treat as not only is Dino Crisis 1 available on GOG, but Capcom also launched its sequel. What’s more, both games come with a bunch of enhancements. These include support for both Windows 10 and 11, along with 4K resolution support. Plus, the PC versions also come with the different modes from the original PC release, including the Operation Wipe Out minigame. Best of all, the GOG versions are both DRM-free.

Given the PC drop of the first two Dino Crisis games, the hope here is that the third game also gets a re-release sometime soon. Hopefully, this also means that Capcom will consider future Dino Crisis games.

Fingers crossed that we might even see remakes of these cult classics a la the Resident Evil remakes which have become massive hits.
