Marvel Games and NetEase Games recently launched the Spring Festival for Marvel Rivals, with the highlight being the new game mode called “Clash of the Dancing Lions.”

Since the game’s launch in December, Marvel Rivals has become one of the biggest multiplayer shooters today, and with this update, there seems to be no signs of slowing down for the game. With this new update, players have been given big treats, one of which is the new Clash of Dancing Lions mode.

In this mode, players can compete in a 3v3 format on a designated map. The goal of each team is to gain possession of a ball and maneuver it into the scoring zones located on either side of the field. The first team to reach a certain score wins. If you haven’t played it yet, it’s essentially a football/soccer minigame that should be familiar to those who’ve played Rocket League or Overwatch’s Lúcioball mode.

To give you a better idea of the mode, you can check out the Spring Festival trailer for Marvel Rivals here:

This new trailer also showed off new costumes that are perfect for the Lunar New Year. These include Star-Lord: Lion’s Mane, Iron Fist: Lion’s Gaze, and Black Widow: Lion’s Heartbeat. These costumes will be available in the game in the coming weeks.

As a bonus, Marvel Rivals is celebrating the launch of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PC with a special Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 bundle. This bundle includes the Advanced Suit 2.0 costume, nameplate and spray, and it will be released on January 30.

Marvel Rivals is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
