ASUS Republic of Gamers announced that its premium ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM will be released in the Philippines in April 2025.

The Swift OLED PG27UCDM is the world’s first 27-inch 4K OLED gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms response time. This is impressive given that for the longest time, to get fast refresh rates at high resolution, your only real option is to go for a display that’s not OLED (usually IPS or maybe TN). As such, the Swift OLED PG27UCDM has vibrant colors and deep blacks without sacrificing smoothness when gaming.

What’s more, the PG27UCDM also comes with ROG OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0 technology which minimizes onscreen flicker. To be exact, with this tech, there’s a flicker reduction of 20% compared to previous-generation panels.

Aside from smoothness, the monitor also has features to help with longevity via the ROG OLED Care Pro suite. One of the suite’s features is the Neo Proximity Sensor which detects the user’s distance from the monitor. When the user goes outside the detection area, the screen switches to black to protect from burn-in. It then restores on-screen content when the user goes back into the detection area. On top of this, there are also other OLED protection features like pixel cleaning, screen saver, taskbar detection, and more.

In the Philippines, the ROG Swift OLED PG27UCDM will be released on the first week of April 2025. It will be priced around PHP 73,000 – 75,000, though the final SRP will be shared closer to its release.

While we have not tried this unit yet, we have tested the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP recently, and we found that it’s an impressive monitor for those in the market for a large and premium gaming display (if you can afford it, that is).
