Samsung Galaxy S25 series Philippines price and availability announced
Samsung's latest flagship series is available for pre-order beginning today!
Samsung has kicked off its 2025 with a bang as it has revealed the price and pre-order details of the Galaxy S25 series in the Philippines.
As always, Samsung unveiled its latest flagship lineup at the first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2025. There, we finally got to see the new phones, along with a rundown of their key features and specs.
While last year’s S24 series already featured a bunch of AI enhancements, Samsung hasn’t stopped when it comes to AI. That’s because the Galaxy S25 series now has even more AI features, including enhancements to Samsung’s own Gemini and Google’s Circle to Search. Some of these Gemini additions include a Shazam-like feature where you can find out what song is playing by recording a clip of it. There’s also the improved Writing Assist feature that summarizes and formats notes, along with Drawing Assist which adds image generation capabilities with prompts.
Aside from AI, the S25 lineup also packs powerful performance courtesy of the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy which promises a performance boost of 40% in NPU, 37% in CPU, and 30% in GPU compared to the previous-generation flagship SoC from Qualcomm.
Plus, the new processor also comes equipped with Vulkan Engine and improved Ray Tracing, promising better visuals and performance for more demanding mobile titles.
The S25 Ultra promises to be the ultimate Galaxy flagship
Of the three Galaxy S25 devices, the S25 Ultra is no doubt the top-tier option. After all, it’s the only one in the lineup which packs a built-in S-Pen. Not to mention that it has the largest screen as it packs a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display.
It also has a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide, a 50MP 5x optical telephoto, and a 10MP 3x telephoto quadruple rear camera setup. At the front meanwhile is a 12MP selfie shooter.
As the top-end model, the S25 Ultra has a 5,000mAh battery, along with 12GB of RAM with up to 1TB of internal storage. For charging, the phone supports up to 45W fast charging.
Along with the S-Pen, the S25 Ultra’s other unique feature is Corning Gorilla Glass Armor 2. This is a new material that’s more durable than Glass that combines Corning’s glass-ceramic with a proprietary anti-reflective surface treatment. Thanks to this, the phone should have enhanced drop protection alongside better scratch resistance.
The Galaxy S25 and S25+ are also promising options
While the Ultra is the highlight for many, the Galaxy S25 and S25+ are no slouches either. Both models are also powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy SoC, and they also pack the same AI features that are in the Ultra.
The only real difference between the two are the display and battery sizes. For reference, the base S25 has a smaller 6.2-inch FHD+ screen and a 4,000 mAh battery. Meanwhile, the S25+ has a 6.7-inch QHD+ screen and a 4,900mAh battery.
Both phones do come with 12GB RAM as standard, and they both pack a 50MP wide + 12MP ultrawide + 10MP 3x telephoto triple rear camera setup. At the front meanwhile is a 12MP selfie camera.
