SEGA Year of the Snake sale now live on the PlayStation Store
Metaphor: ReFantazio is part of the sale along with other popular titles!
Just a week after starting its new Publisher Sale, SEGA announced its Year of the Snake Sale on the PlayStation Store, featuring offers on various popular titles.
SEGA had a great 2024, and this sale included some of the biggest hits from SEGA and Atlus from last year. Aside from the latest releases in SEGA/Atlus’ signature franchises, the sale also features a discount on the latest title from Studio Zero which became one of 2024’s best RPGs.
Metaphor: ReFantazio
Perhaps the biggest highlight of the sale is Metaphor: ReFantazio. In case you haven’t bought it since its launch, now is the best time to do so.
If you’re a JRPG fans, Metaphor is no doubt a must-play, especially if you enjoy Atlus’ RPGs like Persona or SMT. That’s because Metaphor: ReFantazio essentially perfects the formula, all while having a memorable story with a loveable cast.
Persona 3 Reload
Next ups is Persona 3 Reload, the remake of the Persona series’ most influential entry. While Persona 5 is arguably the definitive Persona game, it was Persona 3 that basically set the standard for the series. After all, it refined many of the series’ concepts while adding an eye-catching art style with a memorable soundtrack.
While the OG Persona 3 has aged quite well (even if you play the Portable version), Persona 3 Reload definitely makes the game more accessible, and improves it in lots of key areas.
Sonic X Shadow Generations
Aside from the third live-action movie, Sonic fans were treated in 2024 with the release of Sonic X Shadow Generations. This is partly a remaster of Sonic Generations for the Wii, though its highlight is undoubtedly the new campaign featuring fan-favorite Shadow the Hedgehog.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Ultimate Edition
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth was SEGA’s first big release of 2024, and even a year after its launch, it still stands as one of our favorite Yakuza series titles yet.
Aside from refining the series’ turn-based RPG formula, it also features a gripping story, and sees Kazuma Kiryu return as a playable character. On top of that, the Hawaii map is a fresh choice for the series, making Infinite Wealth a must-play for any and every Like a dragon fan.
