The new year has just begun, and Samsung is already gearing up for its first Unpacked event of 2025 happening later this month.
Samsung went all out with AI last year as its Unpacked events in 2024 featured devices with lots of AI enhancements such as the S24 series. This year is no different as Samsung announced that the next evolution of Galaxy AI will be shown at the event. As for the devices, Samsung confirmed that the next Galaxy S series phones will be showcased; not too surprising given that Samsung usually opens the year with their Galaxy S Unpacked event.
This upcoming event will happen in San Jose, California, and it will be streamed live across the world. In the Philippines, the livestream will happen on January 23, 2:00 AM PH Time, and it will be streamed live on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and Samsung’s YouTube channel.
Based on the previous Samsung flagship lines, the Unpacked 2025 event will likely reveal the three Galaxy S25 phones, including a base, a Plus, and an Ultra model. After all, Samsung has gone with this triple configuration since the Galaxy S20 series.
To complement the phones, we also expect to see new Galaxy wearables, possibly some new watches and wireless earbuds.
