The HUAWEI Mate X6 hits the shelves today

Global tech brand Huawei previously unveiled their latest foldable smartphone, the HUAWEI Mate X6, and now made it available for purchase. Their brand new foldable offers a combination of durability and premium features in a slim form factor.

The Mate X6 which weighs in at 239g and measures 9.85mm when folded and 4.6mm unfolded. It features a dual-screen design with a 6.45-inch OLED exterior display and a larger 7.93-inch OLED interior screen. Both displays incorporate HUAWEI’s X-True technology and 1440Hz PWM dimming to reduce eye strain during extended use.

Addressing common concerns about foldable phone durability, the Mate X6 comes equipped with an aviation-grade aluminum frame and second-generation KUNLUN Glass protection. The device also boasts IPX8 water resistance, capable of surviving submersion in up to 2 meters of water.

The camera system features a 50MP Ultra Aperture main camera with adjustable aperture, a 48MP telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom and macro capabilities, and a 40MP ultra-wide angle camera. The system has received TÜV certification for color accuracy and stability.
