The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- reveals star-studded voice cast in new trailer

With the game’s launch just a few months away, Aniplex shared a new trailer for The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy-, revealing the game’s main voice cast.

Following the trailer’s release, the cast was also listed on the game’s official website alongside descriptions for each character.

The game’s cast includes:

• Fairouz Ai (Power in Chainsaw Man) as Darumi Amemiya
  • A girl known for her mood swings and obsession with all things dark and depressing. She‘s a big fan of killing game stories and has no fear of death.If she has to die,all she wants is a death that‘s as dramatic and flamboyant as humanly possible.
• Takahiro Sakurai (Giyu Tomioka in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) as Eito Aotsuki
  • Takumi’s most trusted ally. Eito cares very deeply for his friends and isn’t shy about expressing those feelings, corny as they may sound. He’s been weak and sickly since he was little, but his impressive intellect might be just what the team needs to guide them through the war safely.
• Megumi Ogata (Yuta Okkotsu in Jujutsu Kaisen) as Ima Tsukumo
  • One of a set of twins—Ima is the elder by a few minutes. He acts like a carefree joker, but underneath that humor is a hint of something darker. A hardcore siscon, he thinks of nothing but protecting his sister. If anything or anyone dares to threaten Kako’s safety, Ima will show them no mercy.
• Rikako Ito (Nichole  in 7th Time Loop) as Kako Tsukumo
  • One of a set of twins—Kako is the younger by a few minutes. She’s prone to spacing out, but also has a keen mind and a healthy sense of curiosity. Kako is a big fan of mystery stories and wants to be a private investigator when she grows up.
• Yui Ogura (Priestess in Goblin Slayer) as Kurara Oosuzuki
  • The scion of one of the most wealthy families humanity has ever known. She’s proud, overbearing, and acts like she’s better than anyone else. She always wears a strange tomato mask, never showing her true face.

As for the protagonist, he is voiced by Taihi Kimura.

In case you missed its reveal, The Hundred Line is an upcoming tactical RPG directed by Kazutaka Kodaka and Kotaro Uchikoshi, the director of Danganronpa and Zero Escape, respectively.

The game is a tactical RPG with visual novel and tower defense elements. As for its story, the game follows Takumi Sumino whose life is turned upside down when monsters attack the Tokyo Residential Complex where he lives. Soon, he and other students are forced to join the Special Defense Unit to defend their school for one hundred days.

The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- will be released worldwide on Nintendo Switch and PC on April 24, 2025.
