Capcom dropped lots of major news on upcoming titles!
Capcom recently shared lots of new details on its upcoming titles, including the second Monster Hunter Wilds open beta, an Onimusha 2 remaster, and more.
To be exact, Capcom held the Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase and Capcom Spotlight broadcast back-to-back yesterday. While there were many announcements at the Capcom broadcast, the new Monster Hunter details are no doubt the highlight for many fans, especially as there’s a new beta coming up.
Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta 2 and PC Benchmark Tool Announced
Following the first open beta back in November, Capcom is holding a second Open Beta Test for Monster Hunter Wilds. Aside from getting to try out the game (including its extensive character creation feature), players will also be able to challenge Arkveld, the game’s flagship monster. Plus, the beta will feature transferable data for character creation, much like the first beta.
The next beta test will happen from 7 February (Friday) at 11:00 AM to 10 February (Monday) at 10:59 AM (GMT+8), and 14 February (Friday) at 11:00 AM to 17 February (Monday) at 10:59 AM (GMT+8).
Along with the beta, players can also try out the new Monster Hunter Wilds Benchmark tool. This tool allows players to check their PC’s performance for the game, meaning they can get a gauge of how well the game will run, or if they need an upgrade.
Finally, there’s a brand-new trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds titled “Into the Iceshard Cliffs.” Check it out here:
The new trailer shows off a snowcapped and rocky region along with the never-before-seen monster, Hirabami. The trailer also features returning fan-favorite monsters: Nerscylla and Gore Magala.
Onimusha 2 is Getting a Remaster
