Following her recent Supernova concert, Hoshimachi Suisei has a new project, and it’s a surprise collab with Converse for a new All-Star sneaker collection.

Since Hololive blew up in popularity back in 2020, it’s fair to say that Suisei has continued to be one of its brightest stars. Not only did she become the first VTuber to perform at The First Take, but she has also continued to be a trailblazer. In fact, just last February 1st, Suisei held her solo concert titled “SuperNova” at the Nippon Budokan. Performing at the Budokan has been her dream, so it was definitely a major milestone, not to mention an incredibly emotional event.

For Hoshiyomi who want to show off their love of Hololive’s shining star, Converse has a new collection that promises to be a must-buy. This new sneaker line features two models that are inspired by Suisei.

The first is a pair of ALL STAR OXs featuring a blue colorway. While it’s the sleeker and subtler model of the two available, it still packs eye-catching design elements, including stars on the back, along with Suisei’s signature on the tongue. The sneakers also have “hololive Generation 0” and “20180322” (Suisei’s debut date) on the toes.

For something a bit more eye-catching, there’s the ALL STAR HI which features various EP and album artwork of Suisei printed all over the canvas. The artworks are blurred out a bit, but dedicated fans should be familiar with most of them.

As a bonus, both sneakers come in special blue boxes that feature the Converse logo along with Suisei’s wordmark.

Interested in getting these sneakers? The Converse x Hoshimachi Suisei line will be released by ABC-Mart on February 22, 2025. The sneakers will be released on ABC-Mart’s official online shop and in select retail stores in Japan. Each buyer will be limited to only one pair of each design.

As for pricing, the ALL STAR HI is priced at JPY 13,200 (around USD 89 or PHP 5,120) while the ALL STAR OX is priced at JPY 11,000 (around USD 74 or PHP 4,270).

For now, there’s no word on international release plans for this collab. Given that most collabs like this are Japan-only, you may want to ask a friend living in Japan to try and buy one (or fly there yourself) if you want to get your hands on these.
