Gcash Activation for HUAWEI watches announced at Global Stage

While majority of the spotlight was pointed at the HUAWEI Mate XT, the world’s first Tri-fold smartphone, Philippine contingent and Media were elated when HUAWEI announced the e-payment activation feature for HUAWEI wearables during the reveal of the brand’s latest wearable: the HUAWEI Band 10.
The HUAWEI Band 10 is the brand’s latest easily accessible smart wearable that helps you track regular fitness activities, 100-Workout routines, your sleep, and even your emotional well-being all the while sporting a trendy, slim, and lightweight profile. It’s perfect for those who want to get accurate readings of their health but want a small profile device on their wrist.
At just 8.99mm thin and 15g light, the HUAWEI Band 10 has a large battery that can reportedly last up to anywhere from 8 to 14 days of use before the need to recharge again. It’s something we’ve already come to expect from HUAWEI wearables.
Aside from this, the HUAWEI Band 10 will also sport an Enhanced Sleep Health Assistant that can give you specific readings on your overall health the more you use it. By leveraging on their Health tracking algorithm, the HUAWEI Band 10 will make sound inference on your overall health based on your average sleeping pattern and habits. And, because the band is light and thin, it doesn’t feel too cumbersome to wear it as you doze off.
But perhaps, more than the accurate health tracking that the HUAWEI Band 10 promises, it’s this particular slide that got everyone excited — GCash finally becoming readily integrated with your HUAWEI smart watches and wearable devices. They mentioned the Band 10, HUAWEI Watch GT 5, HUAWEI GT 5 Pro, and other HUAWEI wearables getting the update real soon.
While the actual date of when this will happen is still anyone’s guess, the fact that it was announced on a world stage means HUAWEI Watch and wearable users should be getting the functionality soon. In fact, certain HUAWEI Watches like the HUAWEI Watch GT 5 Pro, already received updates that shows QR-payment function. It still can’t connect to your GCash account for now, but here’s hoping it happens sooner than later.
