HUAWEI unveils the MatePad Pro 13.2-inch 2025, promising a PC-level experience

Alongside the new Mate XT, HUAWEI also unveiled the MatePad Pro 13.2-inch 2025 model, and it promises to deliver proper PC-level performance in a more portable form factor.

Over the years, HUAWEI has released tablets that proved to be capable productivity partners, enough that they can be laptop replacement options for some users. Now, HUAWEI promises that the new 2025 model is the best one yet when it comes to a PC-level experience, all while having a form factor that’s more portable and flexible.

When it comes to using the MatePad as a laptop, the device promises to deliver not only PC-like performance but also a similar experience when it comes to office apps. That’s because the tablet packs a PC-level WPS Office suite which you can use for documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. It also has a NearLink Detachable Keyboard for a great typing feel, along with low-latency connectivity.

Aside from the keyboard, the tablet also has compatibility with the 3rd Gen HUAWEI M-Pencil. This latest M-Pencil a 10,000-level pressure sensitivity, ultra-low latency, and precision tracking, meaning it should be a great match for both writing and drawing.

What also makes it a fitting device for note-takers and artists is the Flexible OLED PaperMatte Display which gives it a paper-like feel. The 13.2-inch screen also has improved anti-glare technology and an even higher screen-to-body ratio compared to previous MatePad models.

Plus, the tablet’s screen should be comfortable to work or watch on as it has TÜV Rheinland for Eye Comfort and SGS for Low Visual Fatigue certification.

As for performance, the MatePad Pro 13.2-inch 2025 shouldn’t disappoint when it comes to productivity. According to HUAWEI, the new MatePad Pro can handle even heavy workloads such as opening large files and managing even up to 100 files at once. It should also be able to process videos fast, with 1GB 4K video files being exported rapidly All of this while having a large 10,100mAh battery with super-fast 100W fast charging.

To top it all off, the MatePad Pro comes with a 50MP rear camera which should deliver smartphone-level image quality, great not only for taking photos as well as scanning documents.
