Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii demo launches today on PS5, Series X, and PC
Get your first taste of Majima's new adventure ahead of the game's launch next week!

With the game’s launch just a week away, SEGA and RGG Studio have released a free demo for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.
To be exact, this free demo lets players experience the game’s combat which features Goro Majima’s Mad Dog and Sea Dog styles. Plus, the demo also gives players a chance to explore Hawaii, play an array of mini-games, and even dress Majima up in various colorful outfits.
Note that the Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii demo is only available starting today, February 14, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Of course, the game is still set to launch on last-gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
Also worth noting is that, unlike other game demos, this one will not let players carry over their save data to the full version of the game. This is a bit of a shame, though it shouldn’t be an issue given that this is an action game instead of an RPG like the Ichiban Kasuga-led titles. After all, RPG demos are typically much longer, meaning it’s more of a hassle to replay the early-game.
Aside from the demo, SEGA and RGG Studio also released the launch trailer for Pirate Yakuza. Along with more gameplay snippets, the trailer also shows off more characters that Majima will meet in his new pirate journey.
