Monster Hunter Wilds launches today with nearly 1M concurrent players on Steam
That's not even counting players on consoles!
After much anticipation, Capcom has finally launched Monster Hunter Wilds worldwide, and it has become a massive hit already with nearly 1M concurrent players on the first day.
To be exact, SteamDB’s charts indicated that Monster Hunter Wilds peaked at 987,482 concurrent players today, making it one of the most-played games on Steam right now.
Given how popular the series has become over the years, it should come as no surprise that Wilds got a huge number of players logging in during the first day. The fact that these numbers don’t even factor in players on consoles indicates that millions are already playing the game globally.
Aside from enjoying monster hunting goodness, players can also expect to get the following bonuses when they play now:
- Login Bonuses – Players can receive login bonuses by playing the game while online (or connecting to online services).
- Let the Hunt Begin! Login Bonus – After creating a new character, players can claim a Let the Hunt Begin! Login Bonus once per day for seven days from their first login.
- Daily Rewards – Once per day, players can receive useful hunting items as a “Daily Reward” to aid their hunts.
- Lucky Vouchers – Players can claim a “Lucky Voucher” once per day, which can be used at the start of a quest to increase the amount of quest rewards and reward money earned.
