The 97th Oscars to stream live on Disney+ in the Philippines
What are your predictions for this year's Oscars?

With the event happening in just a week, Disney+ announced that it will exclusively stream the 97th Oscars in the Philippines next week.
To be exact, the 97th Oscars will stream live beginning with the red carpet at 7:30 AM in the Philippines, with the ceremony itself starting at 8:00 AM PHT. Aside from seeing various Hollywood stars get recognition for their memorable film roles in 2024, the ceremony itself promises to be a must-see as it will be hosted by none other than Conan O’Brien.
It’s fair to say that Conan hosting the Oscars caused an uptick in interest, which isn’t too surprising given that Conan is still a hugely popular comedian thanks in large part to his podcast. Of course, it also helps that Conan had a Max travel special last year, along with an incredibly funny appearance at Hot Ones.
If you ask us, Conan is a major reason that the Oscars promises to be a must-watch, though getting to see which films get awarded is also an exciting proposition. After all, 2024 has given us lots of great movies such as The Substance, Anora, Conclave, and many more.
In related Disney+ news, the upcoming live-action Marvel series Daredevil: Born Again will also premiere on the platform starting next week.
