Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii comes out tomorrow, and before the release, SEGA and RGG Studio have completed The History of Majima series with Chapter 3.

In case you missed it, The History of Majima is a three-part video series that essentially summarizes the story of the Mad Dog of Shimano. Chapters 1 and 2 were released just a few days ago, and they each focused on a certain aspect of Goro Majima.

The first chapter was centered on how Majima earned his Mad Dog of Shimano moniker, meaning it emphasized the events of Yakuza 0. Then, the second chapter was about the different faces of Majima, meaning it spanned the various games that happened after Zero (timeline-wise at least).

Finally, the third chapter puts the spotlight on Majima and his bonds with Kazuma Kiryu and Taiga Saejima. As shown in the various Yakuza games, Majima and Kiryu are rivals of sorts, but when push comes to shove, they have each others’ backs. Meanwhile, Majima and Saejima are sworn brothers whose stories are very much intertwined.

Soon, Yakuza fans will be able to see a new adventure for Majima, though this next one sees him make a surprise turn as a pirate sailing the seven seas.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii launches tomorrow, February 21, 2025, on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
