The new vivo V50 confirmed to launch tomorrow, Feb 27

Hold on to your ZEISSco-engineered smart devices as vivo is about to drop the follow-up to their mid-range series offering tomorrow with the imminent launch of the vivo V50. A bold new expression of photography excellence, the vivo V50 comes in stunning Ancora Red — a trendy deep cherry red that has been used by various esteemed fashion houses, recently by GUCCI under the creative direction of Sabato De Sarno.

The vivo V50 follows its predecessor, the vivo V40, as having a storied partnership with ZEISS. This means that this mid-range marvel will no doubt benefit from 2 signature vivo Photography Innovations: the AI Aura Light 2.0 — a handy soft-box lighting feature to capture crisp and clear portrait images, and ZEISS Cinematic Cameras to help capture everyday snaps that’s silver screen-worthy.

What’s new this time around? Well, according to vivo, the vivo V50 will include a CIPA 4.0 DSLR-Level Stabilization on the 50MP ZEISS  OIS main wide camera. This helps eliminate blur, and capture your shot well,  no matter how much movement is in the frame.

Then there’s also the 50MP ZEISS Ultra Wide-Angle Camera, and the 50MP ZEISS Group Selfie Camera, with AI Facial Shape Correction and a 92° wide field of view, that rounds the imaging capabilities of the vivo V50.

For those into cinematography, you’ll be happy to note that the device can capture 4K videos for both rear and front-facing camera.

And lastly, the device comes with a large 6000mAh battery with 90W SuperFast Charger.
