Andor Season 2 gets a new trailer and key visual ahead of April premiere

With the show’s premiere just weeks away, Disney+ shared a new trailer and the key visual for Andor Season 2.

The new season of Andor got its first proper trailer a month ago, and while it showed off plenty of eye-catching visuals, its song choice was definitely unexpected.

Now thought, the show’s second trailer features the menacing sound of a Star Destroyer’s alarm. As such, this trailer is a better showcase of what to expect, especially given Andor’s darker and more serious tone compared to other Disney+ Star Wars shows.

As most Star Wars fans expected, this second and final season will tie into Rogue One. In the trailer, we’re shown clips of the Death Star being built. Plus, returning characters from Rogue One are given the spotlight, including Director Krennic and Saw Gerrera.

If you ask us, Andor is easily one of the best projects of Star Wars’ Disney era. Sure, its first season may not have been as talked-about as The Mandalorian, but it’s fair to say that it has gotten the most critical acclaim.

While its slow-burn story may not be for those looking for lighter Star Wars fare, Andor is definitely a top-tier series. As such, we’re hoping that this final season gives the series a proper conclusion.

Andor Season 2 will premiere on April 23, 2025, exclusively on Disney+.

In related news, Disney+ is also gearing up to release Star Wars Visions Season 3 in the future, though there’s no word yet on its release date.
