Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2 gets August 2025 release date
It won't be long now until the next Demon Slayer fighting game gets released!

Following its announcement in December, SEGA finally revealed the Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2 August 2025 release date.
The first Hinokami Chronicles game was released back in October 2021, and it was quite a significant release. Aside from being the first Demon Slayer console title, it was released at a great time given that the Kimetsu no Yaiba anime was hugely popular around that time.
Of course, the show is still popular today, with many eagerly awaiting the upcoming three-part Infinity Castle movie. The first part of the movie trilogy will be released in July this year, and soon after, The Hinokami Chronicles 2 will launch just a month later.
To be exact, the second Hinokami Chronicles game launches on August 1, 2025. The game’s release date was revealed alongside a new trailer, which you can watch here:
As previously revealed, the Hinokami Chronicles sequel will feature a story mode that adapts the Entertainment District arc (aka the anime’s second season). Thus, the story mode will see Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke go undercover to flush out Daki and Gyutaro.
What’s more, this upcoming game will also feature plenty of roster additions that are sure to delight Kimetsu no Yaiba fans.
