Filipino cosplayers bring the Dandadan cast to life in this impressive cosplay shoot

We’ve seen plenty of Dandadan cosplays over the past few months, but this cosplay shoot by Filipino creators is easily one of our favorites!

The first half of Dandadan Season 1 aired in Fall 2024, and it quickly became one of the biggest shows of the season. This is thanks to its creative animation, entertaining story (with a lot of heart), and its loveable, wacky characters.

Recently, we were reminded of just how wacky and awesome the show’s characters are courtesy of this new cosplay shoot by a group of Filipino cosplayers. Aside from nailing their looks and outfits, the images are great as they recreate many moments from the anime, especially the colorful opening credits scene.

This shoot was shared online by photographer moepix, and it features five cosplayers as the anime’s main cast: Okarun, Momo, Seiko, Aira, and Jiji.

In case you haven’t seen it yet, Dandadan’s first 12 episodes are streaming now on Netflix in the Philippines and other select Asian countries. Meanwhile, the first season’s second half is set to premiere in July 2025.
