HONOR X5b to launch in the Philippines on April 2
HONOR PH is gearing up for yet another launch.
Just a few weeks after the X8c launch, HONOR Philippines is now gearing up for another, and this time, it’s the new HONOR X5b.
This new smartphone launch is a bit different as it’s a partnership between HONOR and Lazada. As such, the X5b is expected to be Lazada-exclusive, at least during its initial availability period.
As for the phone itself, the HONOR X5b is another budget-friendly smartphone that promises to deliver reliable performance and long battery life, all at a price tag that won’t break the bank. Aside from the base model, there will also be an X5 Plus, though more details will be shared during the PH launch event.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Lazada for the first time to bring a device that combines style, reliability, and advanced features. The HONOR X5b is designed to meet the everyday needs of Filipino consumers,” said Stephen Cheng, Vice President of HONOR Philippines.
The HONOR X5b and X5b Plus will officially launch in the Philippines on April 2. More details about the phone, including exclusive Lazada perks, will be shared during the event.
Based on the X5 Plus from 2023 which was priced well below PHP 10k, we expect the HONOR X5b and X5b Plus to also have a low price tag. Of course, we’ll have to wait and see until April 2 if their prices will still be under PHP 10k.
