HUAWEI highlights the new Tri-Fold Mate XT along with new wearables and tablets at MWC 2025
HUAWEI had quite a showcase at this year's Mobile World Congress.

At MWC 2025, HUAWEI put the spotlight on its new tri-fold smartphone, the Mate XT, along with other new wearable and tablet tech.
As Mobile World Congress is one of the biggest events of the year for smartphone brands, it makes sense that HUAWEI took it as an opportunity to showcase its new Mate XT once again. In case you missed it, the Mate XT is a tri-fold smartphone, meaning it has two hinges, giving the phone an even bigger screen than most other foldables when opened fully.
HUAWEI not only showed off the Mate XT at their Consumer BG booth, but it also featured the Intelligence Scenario experience zone which gave visitors a firsthand experience with various smartphone features, including Multi-exposure and AI retouch. Plus, the Mate X6 also had a dedicated area where the unique materials it was made of were highlighted.
Aside from smartphones, HUAWEI also showed off its line of wearables at MWC 2025. This wasn’t limited to just product displays though as HUAWEI also had a couple of experience areas where visitors can see the wearables and their tracking features in action, including the WATCH GT 5.
These include a cycling experience area that put the HUAWEI TruSense System (for tracking hart rate data) to the test. There’s also the Health Glance zone which featured demonstrations of the multiple health indicators measured by the HUAWEI WATCH D2,
Rounding out this year’s MWC for HUAWEI was the MatePad area. To be exact, this area put the spotlight on the new MatePad Pro 13.2-inch 2025 with its flexible OLED PaperMatte Display.
Along with the screen, other MatePad Pro 13.2-inch features were showed off, including its M-Pencil and GoPaint app, as well as its PC-Level WPS Office Suite.
