Indiana Jones and the Great Circle launches on PS5 this April with Premium Edition and Collector’s Bundle
PlayStation players can soon enjoy the latest Indiana Jones adventure!
Following its release on Xbox and PC back in December, Bethesda and MachineGames finally announced that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be released on PS5 this April.
Given that this game is made by Bethesda (which is owned by Xbox), the fact that it’s launching on PlayStation just a few months after its initial Xbox release is significant. After all, not only does this mean we’ll see more PlayStation releases for Xbox titles, but it may also mean future Xbox games will get a simultaneous release on PS5.
We’ll have to wait a while to know if this will be the case for upcoming Xbox games. What we can say for certain is that the wait for this new Indiana Jones game’s PS5 launch won’t be long as it will be released on April 17, 2025.
Aside from announcing the PlayStation release date, MachineGames also revealed that PS5 players can enjoy the new whip abilities “Open Season” and “Sleight of Hand” in the game. Open Hand causes enemies to temporarily take more damage after a whip-crack. Meanwhile, Sleight of Hand gives players the ability to disarm an enemy and have Indy grab their weapon. Note that these new moves will also be released on Xbox and PC versions on the 15th.
Plus, MachineGames shared the Premium and Collector’s Bundles for the game. Of course, there’s also a Standard Edition that includes only the base game. Pre-orders for all versions are available now, and they’ll come with the Traveling Suit Outfit and the Lion Tamer Whip.
For the Premium Edition, players will automatically get access to the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants story DLC when it launches in the future. Plus, it will also come with the Temple of Doom Outfit, a digital-art book, and two days of early access starting April 15.
As for the Collector’s Bundle, this version of the game comes with all the items in the Premium Edition. The highlight of this package though is the assortment of goodies inside.
Aside from a Jumbo Steelbook case, this version comes with an Allmaker Relic Replica, an Adventure Journal, and The Great Circle Globe with a hidden storage compartment.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be releases on PS5 on April 17, 2025.
