A welcome addition to the OPPO Reno13 series, the OPPO Reno13 F (4G) is now here — and it’s an ideal companion to always on-the-go urbanites that has been hit by the travel bug hard. Much like its beefier siblings, the OPPO Reno13 F also sports a host of structural and software improvements from its predecessor — the top of which would be the device’s IP69 rating for dust and waterproof.
Yup, you can take the OPPO Reno13 F with you on those destination lake or waterfall travels, and not worry if you accidentally (or not) plunge your device underwater. The IP69 rating means that the OPPO Reno13 F can withstand freshwater areas under 2 meters of depth for 30 minutes. OPPO also equipped this with an Underwater Photo and Video feature utilizing the 50MP Ultra-Clear Main Camera supported by a 76° field of view and a 32MP Front Camera with an 82° field of view.
And while other IP69-rated smartphones may have this feature enabled as well, OPPO made the Underwater photo mode quite intuitive and user-friendly. Once done, simply exit the mode and the phone will push out any excess water still in the device’s chambers via a sonic water emission.
