The First Berserker: Khazan is out now on PC and consoles
The game also has a free demo now on all platforms.

SEGA has finally released The First Berserker: Khazan – a new Soulslike action-RPG – on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Technically, Khazan is developed by Nexon, though SEGA signed a sub-publishing agreement with Nexon to bring the game’s physical version to the Japanese and Asian markets. In a way, this is a similar deal to Enotria: The Last Song which is another Soulslike title.
To mark the game’s release, a launch trailer was shared titled “Smash to Black.” You can check it out here:
Khazan might seem like a brand-new IP, but that’s far from the case. That’s because this game is part of the Dungeon Fighter Online (DnF) universe, Nexon’s flagship IP that has more than 800 million players worldwide.
Of course, this game promises to be a good entry point into the franchise as you should be able to jump right in even if you’re unfamiliar with DnF. This is thanks in part to the fact that Khazan is a prequel.
To give you a better ideas of what to expect, the game’s premise is described as:
Set 800 years before the events of DnF, the game unfolds on the continent of Arad and explores the untold story of Khazan, the first Berserker. Players will experience Khazan’s legendary journey firsthand as they master intricate and engaging combat mechanics and strategic battles that bring his epic tale to life.
The First Berserker: Khazan is out now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
In case you need more convincing though, Khazan has a free demo available right now on all platforms. After finishing the demo, you can transfer your progress to the full game if you buy a copy on the same platform.
