This Final Fantasy VII Rebirth mod gives Tifa her OG FF7 outfit

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth was released on PC back in January, and now, there’s a mod that gives Tifa her outfit from the original FF7, or at least one that looks like the OG design.

This mod was created by SweetFluff3D and uploaded for free on Nexus mods in mid-February. Note that while it’s based on Tifa’s look from the classic PS1 FF7, it’s essentially a tweak to her current default outfit.

As such, Tifa’s skirt, shoes, gloves, and white top are still the same as her standard FF7 Rebirth outfit. The main changes here are the removal of her black undershirt, shorts, and stockings, making it closer to the original look. Plus, some textures were touched up a bit.

Following its release, an update was shared that gave players the option to keep Tifa’s stockings on – a nice touch as we prefer this look over the classic one.

On the mod’s page, you’ll also see that because Tifa’s shorts are removed in this mod, you’ll see her flash her white underwear while fighting. Not the most practical outfit choice if you ask us, but we’re sure some players would prefer this (for various “reasons”).

This is just the initial version though as SweetFluff3D said that more work will be done to make this mod outfit look closer to the OG FF7 version.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is available now on PC and PS5. Note that mods like this are only available on PC.
