Dandadan: Evil Eye is coming to select cinemas in the Philippines; Season 2 to premiere this July
Dandadan will once again get a special preview screening in the PH for Season 2!

Dandadan is returning with its second season this July, though before its streaming release, the Dandadan: Evil Eye preview will be screened in select cinemas in the Philippines.
The first season of Dandadan aired from October to December 2024, and it’s fair to say that it quickly became one of the most popular anime of the year. This is thanks to its gripping story which features plenty of hilarious moments, balanced by creative action scenes and heartfelt character moments.
While Season 1 ended on a cliffhanger, fans at least won’t need to wait much longer as Dandadan is set to return with its second season in July 2025. As with the first season though, Season 2 will get special theatrical screenings that will preview the first three episodes. Along with a theatrical cut of the episodes, the screenings will also feature an interview with series co-directors Fuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora.
Fans around the world will be happy to know that the screenings will be rolled out in over 50 countries and regions. In Asia, Muse Communication is handling distribution duties. The screenings will start on May 30, and they are confirmed to take place in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and India.
Given that the Season 1 screening was not a wide release in the Philippines (it was only shown in SM North EDSA), we expect Dandadan: Evil Eye to have a limited run as well. More info about its PH release will be shared soon.
For those who won’t be able to watch the screening, the good news is that Dandadan is going to be streamed globally in July. More info about its streaming release will be shared soon, though we expect the second season to be streamed on Muse Asia’s YouTube channel and Netflix, among other platforms.
