Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2 gets three new character trailers

With the game’s release just months away, SEGA shared three new character trailers for Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2.

In case you missed it, The Hinokami Chronicles 2 was revealed in late 2024, and it’s the sequel to the first Demon Slayer arena fighting game that was released in 2021.

As the first Hinokami Chronicles title only covered the events up to the Mugen Train arc, the sequel’s story mode will cover the events of the Entertainment District and Swordsmith Village arcs.

The game’s release date trailer emphasized the Entertainment District arc’s story and characters. Now though, The Hinokami Chronicles 2 got new trailers, putting the spotlight on characters from the Swordsmith Village Arc.

First up, we have the Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito. The trailer shows off Muichiro’s prodigious swordsmanship skills.

Next is the character trailer for Mitsuri Kanroji, the Love Hashira. While she may seem sweet and rather airheaded, Mitsuri is a powerful combatant. The new trailer shows off some of her skills in-game.

Finally, we have Tanjiro Kamado’s Swordsmith Village version. If you’ve seen the anime, you should already know what to expect with this version of Tanjiro. If not, this trailer showcases Tanjiro’s Hinokami Kagura and Water Breathing techniques, giving you a better idea of what to expect.
