Following the recent Nintendo Direct, SEGA announced that Two Point Museum will be released on the Switch 2 later this year.

While the previous Two Point titles (Hospital and Campus) were released on the Switch, the latest series entry was launched only on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. It’s a bit of a shame that Museum isn’t out on the Switch given that these titles are a great match for the console’s portability.

On the bright side, players looking to upgrade to the Switch 2 will be happy to know that this latest series entry will be released for the console in 2025.

The game’s Switch 2 release was confirmed by SEGA and Two Point studios shortly after the latest Nintendo Direct. Aside from the announcement, there wasn’t much in the way of details regarding the Switch 2 version.

Currently, there’s also no word on a release date yet. As such, this might not be a launch title for the Switch 2. Still, the Switch 2 release confirmation should be good news for some players.

If you can’t wait for this game’s upcoming Switch 2 version, Two Point Museum is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Plus, the game runs well on the Steam Deck – great for players who want to play this game while on the go.
